Once my friends ask me:"sheilla,Do u love your mother more than your father? Or do u love your father more than your mother?"When i heard that,i find it is really a good question.Lots of females love their dad more than their mama,but lots of males love their mama more than their dad.Nowadays ,lots of people may think that's right.
   Like everything else, I can't choose between my mother or my father. That's like asking what came first, the chicken or the egg. I'll have to say, equally. Simply because it has it's pros and cons. And even if it is same sex parents my answer would still be equal.
   As for me,I love them both the same! Even though my father went to medical school when i was 5,and he was never around me till i was 12 which is now. My mom has always been there no matter what and no my dad always will be,my dad has finally reilized that he has missed out on so much that hell never get back what he missed!
   I love them both equally, but in different ways and for different reasons. They are each unique individuals. The kind of love we have, each time we have it, is different every time.I will never forget the day my mama brought me to school,i will never forget my dad taught me how to live in university,i will never forget the day when my mom taught me how to cook,i will never forget how my dad taught me play games...In my eyes,they are my idol.My parents have dedicated all their energies to me,now i have grown bigger than vefore,after 2 years later,i will graduate,i think at that time i can reward them. Mother's day and Father's day will come,have u perpared something for them,aha,i am wishing to it![/box]

i think its more of how deep the connection is with each parent. i love them both deeply!I love both of my parents very much. I think that there are more things I like about my mom than my dad. But I like each parent for different reasons. Usually my dad would always be the one who said yes to something I wanted to do. And my mom would always have some kind of excuse why she didn't want me to do something or go somewhere. But my parents always tried to agree on something even if one of them had to compromise what they wanted. I felt more of a connection with my dad when I was younger and then as a teenager I didn't really feel like I could relate to them on hardly anything. But as I grew into a young adult, I connection more with my dad on a male level. My dad used to be more active and play sports and did stuff with me. But now he takes a nap when he gets home from work. And he goes to bed early and my mom stays up. So I think there are different phases in a son or daughter's life where they feel closer to one or the other parent.
