Compare to University of Science and Technology of China
Without defying for our area, I have to , after a long period comparison with USTC-my original proposed University, illustrate some monsters about our NW A&F U.
As my view, the flaws usually are presented in these aspects. Firstly, I dare to say Xinong’s students are quite diligent which really akin to USTC’S. But they don’t have many opportunities to obtain the advanced education for latest tools and technologies which I had experienced in USTC. It is really a awful pity for those active youth who are full of pursuit for knowledge . To be honest, I can see misconception from their eyes. I can find confusions from their face. I can feel that their soul of activity and creativity are departing beyond them min. by min. these tiny lost of minute is ｆｒｏｍing, and cumulate to a giant mistake, and then become a dreadful gap. The gap will result your low competitive ability in research unfamiliar world, on hunting job and ｆｒｏｍing a potential leader. ‘I can’t find a good job after graduation,’ a senior of Xinong said, ‘I have no idea for this circumstance.’ I still feel morose because I do not have better to help them. So it is a high time to renew our habit and fetch the losed faith. We need to up to date and get ride of those oldest and tedious materials written older days. We need to realize the fact that the world we face is a changeable world in spite of the stable house and constant stone of Xinong.
Second, the students here are tend to be satisfied the boring life. Obviously they have lost their soul mentioned above, but it is hard to see so large number of students in a whole campus. The way- routinization – a concept insisted by a group of routinism, will get them felt boring and deprive their creativity for future, their own brilliant career. The closed geographic site of Yangling and conserved ideas get them become the slaves of time consuming. So keep a passion for pursuing a higher goal and get the essence of what is innovation and how to innovate in our daily life would become the better way to succes. It is time to break the rope of convent idea. It is time to converse the out of date life style.
